Dearest "Hot Flashes"~You made my 60th birthday very uniquely celebrated with so many wise grey
haired, elder women "ROCKING OUT!!!!". I still have friends and family calling with comments of
how much fun it was to have you play for us, particularly for a woman's 60th!! You have magic in
your music. We had many professional musicians at this party and you got rave reviews.

On behalf of the Naval Cryptologic Veterans' Association (NCVA) and me personnally, I would like to thank
the Hot Flashes for a very enjoyable evening of music on 14 August 2008 at our annual reunion held at the
Westport Sheraton Chalet. From Carol's opening of the banquet door with "Meet Me in St. Louie, Louie" (on
the trumpet) to the last song at midnight, your performance was enjoyed by all. I would especially like to
mention your opening medley of "Anchors Aweight," "From the Halls of Montezuma," and "God Bless America,"
joined in chorus by the entire audience (tears included). Thank you, thank you, thank you.
